Wollaston Lake’s history

Collection

Wollaston Lake sits on the eastern shore of Wollaston Lake, in the boreal forest of north-eastern Saskatchewan. It is the home of the Hatchet Lake Denesuline Nation, known in Chipewyan as Tthęł Tué Dene. The settlement is made up of the northern settlement of Wollaston Lake and the neighbouring First Nations community of Wollaston Post, which is the administrative headquarters of the Hatchet Lake Dene band government.
